Do you work with insurance?
Some of our therapists are in-network with Aetna. Otherwise, we are out of network providers. We are able to check on your out of network benefits, and we provide a monthly superbill that you can use to seek reimbursement from your insurance company. We do not submit out of network claims for clients. Many clients are able to use their out of network benefits to get their sessions reimbursed at 40-80% of the session cost.
How much do you charge?
What is the session frequency like? Can we meet biweekly?
We require that new clients meet with us on a weekly basis for at least the first 8 weeks. This allows us to build a strong therapeutic relationship, get a good sense of your needs, and begin the momentum for change. Sometimes it is clinically appropriate for clients to have sessions twice a week or every other week. This can be discussed with your clinician.
What states are you licensed in?
We are all licensed in the state of Maryland. Alyssa DeGrace is additionally licensed in Virginia. Kelley York is additionally licensed in North Carolina. If you’re meeting with your clinician virtually, you must be located in the state they are licensed in during the session.
